Bob McNab Charity Shield

We are pleased to announce that this year’s deserved winner of the Bob McNab Charity Shield is David & Carol Knott of Bravilor.
David and Carol are currently walking from Wallsend to Bowness on Solway, a total of 88 miles on the flat not counting all the ups and downs of the hills! That's alot of fresh air, sun and rain but hopefully no snow. They are raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support. To date they have raised an impressive £2443.
Following our coverage in the Cedabond Newsletter last month we thank those Members and Suppliers that have supported this considerable effort. It’s not too late to donate and I’m sure every extra pound will provide added encouragement to David & Carol on the home stretch.

Cedabond Members win Five out of Six Major Industry Awards

At the recent CEDA conference, 5 out of a total of 6 Grand Prix Awards went to Cedabond Members. Well done to all for the high standards that were achieved.
Deservedly the overall award went to Clive Groom and the team at CNG Foodservice Equipment, for Deseo, at the Gleneagles Hotel. The brief was to design a new restaurant with a ‘Mediterranean market’ theme for use by residents and members of the health and leisure centre from breakfast through to dinner. Well done to Clive and all the team at CNG.

 Airedale for Makro Glasgow Coffee Shop ‘M’ Cafe-Cost Sector, Small Project
 C&C Catering Equipment for Twelve Restaurant-Profit Sector, Small Project
 Catershop for Wadham College, Cost Sector, Large Project
 Vision Commercial Kitchens for Cameron House Hotel, Sustainability Project

Meiko & Mechline win major industry awards

Congratulations go to Meiko UK, & Mechline Developments. Both these Suppliers received industry recognition and major awards, at the recent CEDA conference.
It is the fifth year in a row that Meiko have won the award for best Heavy Equipment Supplier. This is a tremendous achievement by any standard. Well done to all the team at Meiko. A combination of quality products with great service, together with a positive approach to developing business with distributor partners, are major factors in Meiko staying at the top.
Mechline Developments Ltd won the award for best Light Equipment Supplier. Mechline’s positive approach in all they do, together with their dedication to innovation in new products will have contributed to their deserved success.
Both these award winning Suppliers deserve maximum support from Cedabond Members.
